Comodo HopSurf is both a web browser toolbar and a browsing service. To analyze how it works you should first create an account. The service allows users to share their view on different websites they have come across and recommend them to other HopSurf users. The toolbar also talks nice to Comodo's Safesurf, which is a security engine for web browsers, so it won't let you go to any website that might harm your computer. So, when you install the toolbar and add some information about yourself, you can start browsing sites. If you click on the HopSurf button on the toolbar, you will be taken to a random site. You can then like or dislike said site. After a few hours, the application will know what type of sites you really like and what sites bore you. Thus, better sites will come up first. You can also submit reviews of the sites that you visit and leave notes for future visitors, which is a great way of getting the community to be involved in the process. The best feature about this toolbar is the hands-free web browsing. There is a button which you can click that will start taking you to random sites one after the other every 5 seconds. It will keep on doing it until you stop. You can also set the time to anything you want, up to a minute. I was a little skeptical when I first run this toolbar, since I am not fan of toolbars at all. But this one has a lot of potential. Of course, the bar will be up there whether you use it or not. But remember that when it is active, it will record your browsing activity.
